Last month we got the First Strike set and my son absolutely loved it. We built them together and painted them together - although my sons painting of the Death Guard was so much better than anything I could do.

After a week of playing First Strike every night and watching Battle videos with him I surprised him today with the Dark Imperium starter set. He’s been sat outside most of the afternoon making the models and never been so engaged! Some epic battles to be played (at least at the level we’re at!)

I must admit that I’m also really enjoying playing, learning, playing a bit more and then realising that we’ve been doing it wrong and starting again!

I can feel myself wanting to find more and more out about it all so I can appear knowledgeable!
